WE HAVE MOVED: You'll now find us on floor 10 of Ole-Johan Dahls hus (IFI2) across the road

The Joint Centre for Bioinformatics in Oslo (Senter for Bioinformatikk) is an informal collaboration between the IFI Bioinformatics research group at the Department of Informatics at UiO, and the CMBN Bioinformatics research group at the Centre for Molecular Biology and Neuroscience (CMBN) at the University of Oslo (UiO) and Rikshospitalet-Radiumhospitalet HF.

The Centre was established in September 2004 and comprises the largest group of people working with bioinformatics research in Oslo. The Centre initially houses a large number of researchers, student and guest researchers.

Located in Gaustadalléen 25 (see image above), it is centrally situated on the Gaustad campus, with several biomedical and computer science research groups within walking distance.

For more information, please visit the websites of the groups or contact Ole Christian Lingjærde or Torbjørn Rognes.

The former page about bioinformatics in Norway on this site is now available here. Please visit the group web sites as well as the site for updated information.
